Champions of the Gods: Pages 92-93

Turns out that it's really hard to miss the church services when you don't leave the building. Also turns out that if you never miss the church services because you're always in the building, you also never develop the habit of keeping track of time to make sure you attend the church services.

Maybe they can stuff him in a locker and pretend he was trapped or something.

  1. A LIKELY EXCUSE

  2. From what we have seen, the Church restricts a lot of information about the gods and magic to the more powerful clergy, to preserve their power. Ivan didn’t even know about “emotion casters”, which I am starting to suspect is deliberate.
It also appears that Ivan knows a different version of Oridell’s tale, which is more depressing than what Eggie sung.

  3. IVAN YOU DONT NEED IT THE CHURCH IS LYING TO YOU ABOUT THINGS, THERES SO MUCH YOU DONT KNOW

  4. I just want to say, thank you DT for this comic. I look forward to every update, and especially, after being outed over the course of the last three days, something positive and uplifting is something that I’m super grateful for. Thank you for putting so much work and life into this beautiful comic and making me look forward to each day <3

    1. Hey thanks so much for reading and for the kind words, and hope the things you’re going through turn all right.

  5. WHAT IF EGGIE AND CO. “KIDNAP” IVAN IN THE NEXT INSTALLMENT?

  6. I love how Mootilda looks between Eggie and Ivan as they converse.

  7. I hope Mootilda finds love and has a bullfriend on the side. Whether he tags along or not is optional.
I, too, look forward to this. You and Sluggy Freelance are my weekly bright spots. 🙂

  8. I like that maybe the story of Oridell and the Plaguewalker was not the complete story, and that the truth might be a bit darker than that. I was thinking as such when she was singing the song that if Oridell presumably survived, it would be interesting to find out what happened to him. As they say, you die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain..

    1. IM STILL IN THE CAMP THAT ORIDELL IS NOW A LICH
