    In all fairness. He was raised believing in the church and with magic. He has seen the mark. He has seen/heard what she can do with no training and the power of her voice. He most likely believes that she may actually be the only hope for the world they are seeing dying. And he’s carrying the only information they have.. Little bit bigger than his potential crush.

      We saw Ivan successfully cast on Eggie back on page 183! Then of course she got excited and woke everyone up, haha.

    Hi, I just want to say I binged the whole comic in two days, and it’s been a very very long time since I’ve read a webcomic THIS good. The absolute ridiculous amount of work and passion you’ve put into this shows everywhere. You’ve inspired me to try and write fantasy again – thank you so, so SO much for making this masterpiece! I can’t wait to read more!
