    Just so you know, “velder” isn’t really a word in Dutch. “Veld” is singular for “field”, yes, but the “velden” would be the one translating to “fields”.
    Thank you for making this comic, I always look forward to an update.

      My understanding is that it translates to “fielder,” so it is a word but just an awkward and weird one that no one really uses anymore, just like no one really says “fielder” in English but it’s a word.

      I do speak Dutch but it’s not my first language so my vocabulary and grasp of grammar/slang isn’t very good. 😛

        First: worldbuilding notes are always welcome, they enrich our experience and definitely don’t need an apology. On the contrary! 🙏
        Second: there’s really nothing much wrong with your Dutch at all, despite Kenny’s claim. Dutch and English can both make and understand the same combinations with “fielder” and “velder”, but don’t use those terms separately.
        Consider for example “middenvelder”, the footballer playing the “midfielder” position on a football pitch.
        The word order is important though, the description always goes before the subject. The other way around makes it so unusual I didn’t even make the connection until you pointed it out. It actually looks more like Latin that Dutch.

    Thank you so much for what you’ve given us so far and the addition of the songs is amazing!

    Although the songs would make this difficult, it would be amazing if one day, when the story is finished, there would be some kind of hard copy available!

    its interesting to note the “regeneration” of souls via adahn. if oridell did really die, is curly angry boy oridell’s reincarnation wanting revenge? its instinct to think of oridell as someone whos gonna assist the group, but a bigger plot twist would be him as an antagonist
