Sorry for such a long delay! I'm here and fine - getting sick and getting slammed with work at the same time just kinda kicked me in the teeth.

9/10 eye doctors agree that Eggie is a menace upon society.

    Also, Ivan, it’s a skeleton with flowers around it. Duh. However, I do question how Eggie landed on your back when she was coming right for you and am sure you would have much preferred butt to the head instead of boot.

    Well, kiddos, that right there would appear to be a deer skeleton, though something snapped apart the front of the lower jaw! I suspect magic and/or people afoot; predators who would have broken the jaw like that probably would have taken it away from the skull. Good work, artist! 😀

    I think it’s more likely that the animal is not a deer, but rather one with a naturally split mandible. Snakes, for example, have split mandibles. See https://www.nhr3.net/facsites/crivet/rawimages/apollo/skeletonmouth.gif

      Actually, I’m changing my answer to deer, too. It looks like a deer jawbone would split down the middle pretty easily, but probably still not due to an intentional act by a predator.       I’m not sure if the broken jaw bone in the comic is necessarily due to violence, or just age. It’s obviously been there a long time if there’s not a trace of meat on it.
