Notice that the high priest has the same symbol hanging on his neck. It makes much more sense, why does he have so much sticks up his butt. He chose a god for whom you are expected to be “resilient, stone-faced and iron-willed” (which I understand as brave, calm and tenacious), but he chose to interpret the meaning in the worst way possible (having sticks up his butt).
I’m curious how his character is going to develop! 😀
