I think per the narrative direction of the comic there is no way Sticks can win this. At best I think a draw/retreat. And recognition of his mistake with Eggie/what may be coming.
But we’ll find out and i expect it will continue to be excellent

He could still win with a dramatic-enough reveal.
Like, if he’s rescued by the somehow-still-alive Oridell, that would do it.

It feels like a faint. He’s pretending to drop the electrical enchantment to draw them in and then strike when they’re too close to flee. From what we’ve seen of his character, he’d do anything to protect Ivan and his other charges. Sadly I don’t think he’s making it out of this alive, and Stick know it. In his mind, the only option is to take them out with him.

Definitely rooting for stick pope: he’s not a bad person, just a bad foster parent. And doesn’t get along with Eggie, but that’s a lawful good / chaotic good conflict, doesn’t mean one is evil.
