Let's be honest. We all knew from the moment she walked into this city that this could only end with either an arrest or a riot.
Oh gosh, you guys, where do I even start? Thanks so much for all the kind comments you left on the THING. But in all seriousness, the positive feedback is really motivating. I'm sure you guys know that webcomic creation can be a tiring grind, so all the kindness and generosity you've all shown really makes a difference. I'm glad so many of you liked it.
Thanks always for reading, and please do have a good weekend!

Moving on, the previous song was awesome. I have some speculation. How much has Oridell’s legend been changed over the years? The main thrust of it is probably true, but this likely happened centuries ago, so exaggerations and changes were made to his legend. Also, was Oridell REALLY a paragon of virtue as depicted in the song, or was he whitewashed over the centuries? That tends to happen with mythological figures like him.
Also, what sort of threat will Eggie face? Oridell faced a giant that spreads plague, and he could regenerate, which made him immune to the plague. That implies that the gods give champions the tools they need to successfully fight the threat. I remember a few pages back there was a background detail where plants wilted, so Eggie’s enemy may be something along the lines of a famine.
no-no-no-noa!
i like both of ur points! it would be interesting to get different retellings of the same legend and see what it means do different groups of people.
with the plants wilting, it could also be the plague of Oridell’s time returning. I wonder what Eggie’s ‘superpower’ will be…
