I’d honestly just prefer you skip a release day here and there DT, no one expects the web comics they follow to always be perfectly on schedule, we’ve all seen a thousand “no strip today, sorry” apologies and except for the truly moronic, we all just roll with it. Better to skip a day and potential accrue a buffer strip or two then be constantly playing catch-up with yourself to your own detriment… we certainly don’t benefit from it.

Appreciate the input. Part of why I try so hard to release the page even if it’s late is because if I start allowing myself to miss days except for extremely dire situations, I have a bad habit of falling into an unproductive malaise. Ripping off that bandaid of “oh, it’s okay to miss a day!” is a dangerous slippery slope for me. I kind of have to be hard on myself, and always be going at 200%, just to keep myself going at all. Also I’m impatient as fuck and want to get the story out, lmao.

Consider the “see you Friday” comment a commitment to make your next upload on time to avoid that slippery slope. Because then if we DON’T see you Friday we’ll feel let down 😢
